A brand new cable range from Salisbury's Chord Co arrives at Custom Electronic Design. 'Solstice' is their new top of the range line, positioned above the already superb Indigo Plus interconnect and Signature speaker cables. The new line is based on a Mains lead, Interconnects and Speaker cables and the maximum improvement to your equipment is acheived when using all three as a cabling 'system' advises Chord. At this point i must point out that i do not have a technical details on the materials or method used by Chord Co for the cable but i can certainly comment on the performance...

Mini Review...
I first heard Solstice around June at the Chord Co towards the end of the design stage, then again in September, and now we have Solstice here at Custom Electronic Design. Starting with just the mains lead in the hifi, the difference was incredible with vocals being brought forward, more detail being revealed throughout and musicality improving. As each part of the Solstice 'system' is added, ie RCA Interconenct and then the Speaker cables, the presentation just becomes more complete & addictive! There's a sense of relief as if you're peeling back the layers to get to what your equipment is really trying to send to your ears.
